| How to get to LA PEDRERA, to the HOTEL |

The HOTEL BRISAS de LA PEDRERA is located one block from the town's only main street, "La Principal", & 50 meters from the town's "Rambla", the street that borders the sea. From Ruta 10 make a left at the LA PEDRERA sign/town, follow the main road towards the sea. A block before the sea make a left, the hotel is down the street on the right hand side just a block from the main road.

Getting to Uruguay from BUENOS AIRES |

You may either fly or take a ferry from Buenos Aires to Uruguay. The choice may vary depending on the season: | ||

Generally if you fly you will do so from Buenos Aires' city airport "Aeroparque", but there are also flights from the International Airport "Ezeiza", sometimes connecting directly following flights from abroad. You can find a flight to Montevideo (230 km to La Pedrera), or to Punta del Este (120 km to La Pedrera). |

If you go by ferry, and your time is relatively short then you ought to choose to ferry to Montevideo, 3 hours port to port, if you have more time in Uruguay and plan to visit other areas you could also ferry to Colonia, 1 hour, from there it is about 6.5 hours to La Pedrera through Montevideo. | |||

Renting a car | ||
|
You may reserve and pick up a car at either airport (Montevideo or Punta del Este), there are a number to choose from, AVIS, HERTZ, DOLLAR, etc. Also some local ones, many of the car agencies will pick you up at the ferry terminal in Montevideo. You should know that you don't need a car in La Pedrera, if you want to visit Cabo Polonio or nearby attractions you can do so by taxi, in town everything, both beaches, restaurants, etc. are within walking distance. No car is a nice relaxing option! |

Using the bus | ||
|
Alternatively, if you fly to Montevideo you may take a bus directly to La Pedrera, it takes about 3.5 hours, the buses are comfortable, have WiFi, and leave you about 4 blocks from the hotel. For flexibility so that the flight arrival & bus departure times match better, you can also take a bus to La Paloma, then a taxi from there to La Pedrera (about 9 km). You can check the bus schedule online at the Tres Cruces Terminal website. Arriving by Ferry: Coming out of the Buquebus terminal make a right, taking la Rambla (the road by the sea) all the way to Carrasco, about 25 kilometers. Once you pass on your left the newly remodeled Carrasco Casino/Hotel, in another kilometer or so you'll see signs towards the airport, follow these signs, after you pass the airport continue on the same double side road, soon, in about another 20 km you'll find yourself at at Toll and entering the Ruta Interbalnearia. |

Arriving by plane: Coming out of the airport follow the signs that say "al Este", soon, in about another 20 km you'll find yourself at at Toll and entering the Ruta Interbalnearia. | |||

Once you are on Ruta Interbalnearia you'll go thru 2 tolls, in about an hour you'll get off the highway at the Ruta 9 exit, to PAN DE AZUCAR, LA PALOMA, ROCHA. | |||

Follow Ruta 9 to Ruta 15, which is at the city of ROCHA crossroads, there is an ESSO gas station, also a good road stop restaurant near it. (About an hour & a half from or ~100kms from the Interbalnearia) | |||

Take Ruta 15, veer right, towards LA PALOMA & LA PEDRERA,around 20 km to crossroad with Ruta 10, signed to LA PEDRERA. Make a left and follow for about 7 km | |||
